Two high-ranking officials with Clark Township police who have been accused of using racial slurs have taken legal action to keep their jobs.
Chief Pedro Matos and Internal Affairs Sgt. Joseph Teston have been on paid leave since 2020.
State Attorney General Matthew Platkin called for the two officers to be fired in a public misconduct report back in November.
However, both officers claim the investigation took too long - violating a 45-day rule.
