A charity in Trenton is hoping for a last-minute Christmas miracle after losing a major toy donor this year.
Catholic Charities provides toys and clothes for needy parents to give their children. This year, however, the group found out that a business it normally gets a load of presents from has shut down. Charity workers have been working hard to find people willing to step up and finish the orders they took last fall. Many people have donated, but the charity says it needs more for the families who show up unexpectedly.
Catholic Charities gave out gifts to almost 900 people last year. It will be taking donations up until 3 p.m. Friday. For more on Catholic Charities or to make a donation, please call 609-394-8879.
