? A Newark boy escaped unharmed from his home after a large tree came crashing down into his bedroom Saturday.

Residents say the 9-year-old was asleep in bed and only had a cut above his eye. They complain this isn?t the first time trees have fallen on Mountain View Place. Homeowners have asked the city to cut down the trees before, but have been unsuccessful. Residents also say a tree fell on the same home in the past.

Crews were on hand cleaning up the site. About 15 homes lost power in the incident.
