Police are investigating multiple burglaries that happened early Thursday morning in Toms River.

The incidents were first reported by the Lakewood Scoop. Investigators say they believe the crimes may all be connected.

A vehicle was stolen from a driver, a home was ransacked and thieves got away with cash and jewelry, topping out at $100,000.

Police say the incidents follow a recent armed robbery in the town as well.
