Thunderstorms moved through New Jersey on Wednesday, causing damage, power outages and impacting travel.

The thunderstorms also caused Newark Liberty International Airport to issue a temporary ground stop. It was soon changed over to a ground delay. There were more than 390 delayed flights and around 85 cancellations due to the weather.
The thunderstorms were expected to move out by the overnight hours, but rain will remain into Thursday and possibly into the Memorial Day weekend holiday.
