Thrill seekers who didn?t have to go to their jobs Tuesday headed to Mountain Creek Waterpark in Vernon to cool down.
Shrieks of excitement could be heard throughout the park as people flew into the air and plunged 15 feet into water on the park?s Tarzan Swings. Park attendees enjoyed all 25 rides at the facility, which is built on the side of a mountain.
?We use the natural terrain to gain the vertical for our slides,? Rachel McCullough, Mountain Creek?s sales and marking director, said. ?You?re not going to find that at any other waterpark.?
Those looking for extreme adventure should try the High Anxiety and H2-Oh-No! rides.
The park will be hosting its third annual Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Model Search on Friday. The event begins at 4 p.m. on the splash stage.
