A third Virginia Tech student from New Jersey has been identified as one of those killed in Monday?s shooting rampage.
Michael Pohle, 23, of Flemington, was set to graduate in a few weeks with a degree in biological sciences. Pohle attended Hunterdon Central Regional High School and graduated in 2002.
His former vice principal said Pohle was a very respectful and courteous young man.
Pohle played lacrosse and football at the high school.
The school held a moment of silence in remembrance of Pohle a minute before dismissal Wednesday.
At least two others from the Garden State died in the shooting. They were identified as 20-year-old Matthew La Porte, of Dumont, and Middletown's Julia Pryde.
The New Jersey governor's office initially announced Tuesday that four had been killed and one wounded.
