Of the eight people inducted into the New York City Stickball Hall of Fame this year, three of them are from the Bronx. Among the inductees are: Father Francis Skelly from the Immaculate Conception Parish in South Bronx; Marty Rogers, a life-long resident from the Melrose area who grew up playing stickball in school; and Paul "Pauley" Saryian who has played the game since 1948.The 33rd annual ceremony was held at the Museum of the City of New York and presided over by New York City Stickball Hall of Fame President Carlos Diaz.
