Thousands of people picked up the traditional doughnuts, pies and all the trimmings ahead of Thanksgiving. News 12 New Jersey's Jim Murdoch was in Colts Neck Wednesday morning at Delicious Orchards where after a pause last year, things are getting back to normal.  

Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck has been around for generations.  

There was a lot of excitement while customers were buying doughnuts and pies.  

Customer Kevin Newton didn’t mind waiting in line for his essential Thanksgiving pies.

“Family, it brings families together, that's the most important part,” says Newton.  

The owners say sales were down last year during the pandemic by about 20%.
