“The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes,” a prequel packed with stars from all around the Garden State, is the latest movie in the “Hunger Games” franchise.
The film can be thought as a villain-origin story of the president before he rose to power. But also, what is essentially a televised Roman Colosseum.
The leading lady is Clifton’s Rachel Zegler from the 2021 movie “West Side Story.” Also featured is Morristown's Peter Dinklage from “Game of Thrones,” and Trenton’s Hunter Schafer from HBO’s “Euphoria."
“The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” comes out in theaters on Friday.
