Temperatures surge to near 80 degrees by Saturday followed up with rain showers

The forecast has strung together multiple days with temperatures in the 60s and 70s, but clouds and storms ruin the spring parade of warmth.

FORECAST:
High temperatures today will be quite chilly with highs in the mid-50s.
Overnight lows will also be near freezing for the northwestern areas.
Friday's temperatures rebound back to the lower and mid-60s under a partly sunny sky
Then, warm southwesterly wind cranks temperatures into the mid to upper 70s across the state through Saturday under a sky of thin clouds and sunshine.
A few showers are possible late in the night Saturday and into Sunday, where Sunday and Monday look unsettled with periods of showers and even a thunderstorm or two.
Monday's weather looks umbrella-worthy but still mild.
