A 13-year-old boy who was struck by a car while riding his bike in Franklin Township Monday night has died.
Franklin Township police say that Andrew Russoniello was struck while attempting to turn left onto Elizabeth Avenue from Amwell Road around 5:30 p.m. Monday. Police say the teen crossed in front of a 2013 Nissan Versa that traveling along Amwell Road.
Russoniello was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and died around 11 p.m. The driver of the Nissan was not hurt.
Police say that no charges have been filed at this time regarding the crash.
