A celebrity gym trainer and Jiu-Jitsu coach from Teaneck killed himself during a child sex investigation in Florida.
Lance Darren Goodall Jr., 32, was charged with sexual battery involving a 14-year-old student. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says the student's father found texts, including photos and videos of inappropriate sex acts involving his child and Goodall.
Investigators learned Goodall owned Venom Fitness Osprey in Florida where the minor was a student. After reviewing text messages sent to the minor, he was charged with three counts of sexual battery by a person in a position of custodial authority.
When investigators went to his home in Florida, they found Goodall shot himself, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
Goodall was also known for training some of the cast of “Housewives of New Jersey.”
Investigators are still looking into the case. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone who may have information regarding this case or who may have been a victim to contact Detective Taylor Garrison.
