Team of women construction volunteers build home for family in Plainfield

An all-women team of construction volunteers is building a new single-family home in Plainfield.
Dozens are working on the project for the Morris Habitat for Humanity.
The house they are constructing is on a vacant lot and was bought from Plainview a few years ago.
Mary Lou Panzano, a member of the Board of Directors for the Morris Habitat for Humanity, says there she enjoys seeing the satisfaction participants have in seeing what they build together.
Several families applied for the house and a lottery will be held to select the new homeowner.
