Gov. Phil Murphy says he wants to address the state’s teacher shortage.
The governor signed an executive order that establishes a task force to investigate the problem.
The group will develop a plan to bring more teachers and staff to the Garden State.
The New Jersey Department of Education says that there has been a 25% decrease in teacher certifications in the state compared to a decade ago.
