Professional soccer returns to New Jersey this Saturday as the Red Bulls are set to play their home opener in Harrison.

Fans will get a first look at Swedish star Emil Forsberg, who the team hopes can provide the star power needed to bring home an MLS Cup title.

The Red Bulls have made 14 consecutive playoff appearances.

"Soccer is growing faster than any other sport in this country, especially with young age groups," said chief commercial officer Joe Stetson. "The World Cup is coming to North America in 2026, so it's a really exciting time to enjoy soccer."

Local talent will be on the roster as well, including John Tolkin from Chatham, Daniel Edelman from Warren, Serge Goma from North Plainfield and Peter Stroud from Chester.

The game against FC Dallas is set to begin Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

New Jersey Transit and PATH are offering service to the game. Click HERE for more information.
