Authorities say eight people were injured when an SUV crashed into a Dunkin' Donuts in Jersey City around 9 p.m. Monday night.

Police say the SUV crashed into the Dunkin' Donuts location on the corner of Griffin Street and Central Avenue. Eight patrons were taken to Jersey City Medical Center, three in critical condition and one in serious condition.

Authorities are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
