Police in Toms River say the area around the Ocean County Library was evacuated Monday following reports of a suspicious briefcase.

area around the Ocean County Library was evacuated Monday following reports of
a suspicious briefcase.
The state police bomb unit
was called to the scene around 6:40 p.m. to investigate.
They later found the
briefcase did not contain any explosives.
