The five men charged in the murder of NYPD Detective Peter Figoski pleaded not guilty today. The alleged shooter, Lamont Pride, has been charged with first-degree murder. Kevin Santos, Ariel Tejada, Nelson Morales and Michael Velez have been charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. According to the indictment, Lamont Pride fired the single shot that killed Figoski during an apartment robbery in Brooklyn on Dec. 12. The other men allegedly participated in the robbery.
