yesterdayPolice in New Rochelle are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at a gas station overnight.
Authorities say the robbery happened at the Sunoco station at 71 Huguenot St. around 3 a.m.
They tell News 12 a man wearing a red hat, a face mask, and army fatigues, displayed a metal object, and demanded money.
He got around $500 from the register and then fled eastbound on Main Street toward Larchmont in a white vehicle.
No injuries have been reported.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them at (914) 654-2300.
