The man who police say shot a Mercer County sheriff's officer surrendered to authorities early Monday. Police say Officer Josh Hahn, 30, was driving with his father in Hamilton Township when he saw 27-year-old Billy Heisler push a woman. When Hahn intervened, authorities say Heisler opened fire, wounding the officer in the chest. Hahn, who is in serious but stable condition, is expected to make a full recovery. Heisler has been charged with attempted homicide. He is being held on $1 million bail.
