The man accused of opening fire on two Newark police officers was arraigned in court today.

Authorities identified Kendall Howard as a suspect almost immediately after the shootings.

After a 22-hour manhunt, Howard was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

Videos from November show the two officers were saved by members of the community.
