This afternoon saw a taste of summer as temperatures soared to the mid- and upper-80s.
TOMORROW: With more sun in the forecast tomorrow, it could get even hotter. This all hinges on the wind direction. Any kind of wind off the water and temperatures will be in the low-80s. If the wind stays warm and westerly, then we could be flirting with 90 degrees in a bunch of neighborhoods.
THURSDAY: A pesky weather system is slowly moving into the area, possibly becoming stationary. This would allow more clouds and passing storms through the state throughout the day. Temperatures will cool down but still remain warm and humid.
FRIDAY: The sun and the heat return. Will this beautiful, summer-like weather take us into the holiday weekend?
WEEKEND: Unfortunately, it will not. Right now - and things will change - it looks like clouds will be a mainstay with a possible passing sprinkle. Sunday is a little better with partial sunshine, but clouds and showers return on Memorial Day Monday.
