News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says it will be a sunny and warm Friday. Powers is also tracking Fourth of July weekend weather and the chance for some scattered rain showers.
WHAT’S NEXT: A warm and humid weekend is in store with some rain possible Saturday and Sunday. Humid conditions remain through July 4.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs around 83 degrees. Overnight lows around 63.
SATURDAY: Humid conditions develop. Daytime highs around 80. Risk of some rain early in the day. Isolated showers or storms later in the day, but mostly staying dry. Overnight lows cool to the mid-60s.
SUNDAY: Day looks to be a bit rainier, with more developed storms later in the day. Conditions will feel “tropical,” with daytime highs in the mid-80s and overnight lows around 69.
MONDAY: Another risk for some stormy weather. Daytime highs around 84. Overnight lows around 70.
FOURTH OF JULY: Partly cloudy with another risk for some storms. Daytime highs around 87. Overnight lows around 68.
