Students have return to class at schools in Camden City and New Brunswick.
In Camden City, the district is now using a hybrid system. However, many kids are still learning at home.
At H.B. Wilson School, less than 10% of students are back, but they expect that number to grow.
"We just want to encourage the parents just have faith and understand that we're doing everything we can to make sure the students are safe. The desks have been sanitized, the rooms have been thoroughly cleaned, we have sanitizer, facemasks," said Principal Nicole Harrigan.
Harrigan says they are in the process of surveying parents of older students to see if they want to send their kids back.
Meanwhile in New Brunswick, older students have returned to New Brunswick High School, Health Sciences Technology High School, New Brunswick P-TECH and New Brunswick Middle School.
Their new normal now includes social distancing, plastic barriers and masks.
