News 12’s Naomi Yane was at a Long Branch home that was damaged by a tree knocked down during strong wind gusts.

The strength of the wind gusts also removed some of the siding on the building.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

News 12 is told the person who lives in the multi-unit home is a first responder. They alerted the homeowner about the incident.

The homeowner is still waiting to hear if the residents can stay in the home overnight.

“The wind must've been very strong out here to have that happen. I didn’t realize the weather was that bad in Long Branch,” said the homeowner.
