If you are looking to watch something new, this is what is streaming this weekend:
"The Eddy" is Oscar-winning director Damien Chazelle's first foray into a streaming series. It follows a New York musician struggling to keep his Parisian jazz club, called The Eddy. The eight-episode musical drama debuts on Netflix Friday.
It's a double dose of Mark Ruffalo in this new family drama series. He plays identical twin brothers in "I Know This Much is True," adapted from the bestselling book of the same name. Rosie O'Donnell co-stars. It will be on HBO platforms starting Sunday.
Or stream a standup show. He's the breakout star of "Silicon Valley" and the film "Crazy Rich Asians." See Jimmy O. Yang's one-hour stand up special "Good Deal," on Amazon beginning Friday.
Jerry Seinfeld is back on the stand up stage. See him in his first all-new material special in 22 years. "Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill" was filmed at his Beacon Theatre residency and is on Netflix now.
This one is comedy in cartoon form - "Solar Opposites" centers around a family of animated aliens. The entire first season starts streaming Friday on Hulu. This cartoon is for grown ups only.
