Police: 2 dead, 3 others in stable condition after overdosing in Red Bank

Five people overdosed in Red Bank early Sunday morning and two of them died, according to police.

Five people overdosed in Red Bank early Sunday morning and two of them died, according to police.
Red Bank Police Chief Darren McConnell tells News 12 it happened at a single-family home on Bank Street.
Police got a call around 12:30 a.m. about a problem at the house. Officers found five unresponsive victims and a small amount of drugs.
Officers gave Narcan to all of the victims and did CPR on some of them.
Police say the two men who died were 29 years old and 35 years old.
The other three are listed in stable condition at Riverview Medical Center.
Police and the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office are investigating.
