New Jersey will see a wet weekend with the potential for thunderstorms, wind and flooding.
Storm Watch Team meteorologists say that the weekend won’t be a complete washout and that there will be a break Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
WHAT’S NEXT: Rainy weather is expected Friday night into Saturday afternoon. A break from the rain is expected Saturday evening and through the overnight hours. More rain is then expected to develop Sunday afternoon and evening and into Monday morning.
OVERNIGHT: Rain showers, with the potential for heavy rain, through the overnight hours. Overnight lows in the upper-40s.
SATURDAY: Rain continues and is expected to last through the morning and into the afternoon. The rain is expected to stop for Saturday evening. Daytime highs around 54 degrees. Overnight lows around 49.
SUNDAY: Cloudy, but dry for the morning. Daytime highs around 59 degrees. Rain returns by the afternoon and evening. Rain is expected to be heavy at times. Overnight lows around 50.
MONDAY: Rain in the morning, clearing out by the afternoon. Daytime highs around 64 degrees. Overnight lows around 49.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies. Daytime highs around 58, overnight lows cool to mid-40s.
