New Jersey has the potential to see dangerous storms again – only a few days after seven tornadoes caused major damage across the state.
Storm Watch Team meteorologists say that Thursday is expected to see thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening – storms that could become severe.
TODAY: Thursday will see a chance of rain showers in the morning. Daytime highs get up to the upper-70s and low-80s. That warmth will fuel potential thunderstorms by around 4 p.m. These storms may produce damaging winds and hail. There is also a slight chance for tornadic activity.
FRIDAY: Cloudy, but mostly dry. Daytime highs around 61 degrees. Overnight lows around 38.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy skies. Daytime highs slightly cooler in the low- to mid-50s. Overnight lows around 35.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny for Easter. Daytime highs around 66 degrees. Overnight lows around 40.
COMING UP: Mostly dry and quiet weather for the upcoming week. Temperatures have the potential to reach 80 by next Thursday and Friday.
