It's a much warmer week this week with periods of rain showers that move in and out of the region. The cloud cover comes with increasing levels of humidity due to the south wind that pulls a whole new air mass into the state. It's not quite stable as a cold front is all it would take to drop the temperature, as we will see later this week. Periods of showers impact northern New Jersey counties through Tuesday morning, but then it should clear to a mostly sunny sky. Highs reach nearly 80 degrees and the humidity level rises. It should feel really nice into Wednesday as well with a similar circumstance with more humidity and warm temperatures near 80 degrees.  A line of thunderstorms arrives Wednesday night just near or after sunset. It carries rain overnight and the temperature begins to cool into Thursday. Currently, the storms do not look severe, but some downpours can be strong and lightning can be ample given the increased level of humidity leading up to the storms. Thursday is a much cooler day with highs in the mid-50s. The temperatures balance out to the 60s and 70s into the weekend with the following chance for rain on Sunday.
