Drab and dreary weather continue into tonight. Expect on-and-off showers and fog to influence the weather this evening. The remnants of Tropical Storm Debby will continue to track northward, bringing copious amounts of rain to the region tomorrow.
The primary weather concern tomorrow is severe thunderstorms capable of producing destructive winds. There is a growing risk of tornados tomorrow as well. Please heed all warnings that are issued tomorrow. The weather is going to turn very quickly on us. Start being more weather-aware of your situation starting around 3 p.m.
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy with periods of rain. Lows dip to the upper-60s.
FRIDAY: Heavy rain showers and thunderstorms. There is a threat of tornadic activity in part of the state throughout the day. Daytime highs around 82 degrees. The rain continues into the nighttime. Lows around 73.
SATURDAY: Rain and clouds early Saturday morning. The weather clears by the afternoon, followed by mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs around 88 degrees. Clear skies overnight with lows around 68.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny with some clouds early. Daytime highs around 84 with lows around 66.
COMING UP: The upcoming week will see mostly sunny skies with some clouds. The next chance for rain appears to be next Friday evening.
