It's possible that both Thursday and Friday early morning commuters could be greeted with some light snow. Accumulations aren't expected, but there could be some snow showers around northern parts of New Jersey.
Wind direction pushes ocean water into the back bays during Thursday morning's high tide. Moderate saltwater inundation is likely.
Speaking of the wind, it's howling- with peak gusts of 35 mph to as high as 57 mph.
The storm is slowly pulling away from New Jersey Thursday and Friday, yet will be close enough that gusty winds and renegade showers are still possible. I have my forecasting fingers crossed that Friday we will see some glimmer of sun for the first time since Sunday.
Saturday is cloudy. The sun comes back out on Sunday. And for you eclipse viewers, Monday's forecast is still on track to be dry with more sun than clouds during totality at 3:30 p.m.
