STORM WATCH: Another round of strong storms overnight in parts of New Jersey

Another round of strong to severe storms threatens to bring 60 mph or greater wind gusts, heavy rain and hail.

On Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of New Jersey, with heavy rain, damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes possible.
News 12’s Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says Wednesday will bring some relief from the rain with mostly sunny skies.
Damaging winds, downpours and hail may impact the evening commute. A second, smaller round will arrive around 6 p.m. across northern areas. Impacts could include power outages. Lows stay mild, near 71.

WEDNESDAY: Thankfully a bit of rain relief! Mostly sunny, pleasant. Highs near 85. Lows near 68.
THURSDAY: Another quiet day with high temperatures near 86. Lows near 72.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with possible storms in the morning/showers during the afternoon. Daytime highs around 83. Overnight lows around 67.
WEEKEND: Pleasant weather with mostly sunshine. Saturday expected to see highs around 80. Sunday to reach near the 90s.
