A flood watch is in effect until Thursday morning for most of New Jersey.
FORECAST:
THURSDAY: Scattered showers mainly in the morning, mostly cloudy and mild. There is a chance of sprinkles throughout the day and at night. Highs in the low 50s.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy and still mild with a chance of some sprinkles. Highs near 50 degrees.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny, colder and dry. Highs in the middle 40s. 
SUNDAY (NEW YEAR'S EVE): Mostly sunny, chilly and dry. Highs in the middle 40s.
MONDAY (NEW YEAR'S DAY): Partly sunny, chilly and dry. Highs in the middle 40s.
NEXT WEEK: Colder, dry and sunny next week. Highs will be in the middle to low 40s.
