Charges have been filed against a Wantage Township family who allegedly confronted and beat up a 17-year-old at his home.
Authorities say that the group showed up at the teen’s home wielding tire irons and other weapons. The confrontation was caught on a Ring doorbell camera.
A woman is seen in the video running out of the home and toward the headlights in her driveway. She can be heard shouting for the men to leave and stating that the person they allegedly came to confront is just a kid.
It is alleged that Anthony Disessa, Sr., Anthony Disessa, Jr., Nicholas Disessa and a minor were chasing the teen because the teen did a burnout on the road in front of the Disessa home.
New Jersey State Police say the confrontation happened on March 25. The victim reported it two days later.
All are facing a multitude of charges, including aggravated assault, weapons possession, criminal mischief, trespassing and terroristic threats.
