State police arrested a man for DWI, and seized an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a traffic stop on the New Jersey Turnpike.

State police arrested a man for DWI, and seized an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a traffic stop on the New Jersey Turnpike.
The traffic stop happened Saturday around 2:41 a.m. in East Windsor Township.
According to state police, Jonathan Lorick, 33, of South Carolina, was stopped for a traffic violation southbound on the turnpike.
Troopers discovered Lorick was under the influence and arrested him for DWI.
Police also found a fully loaded AK-47 rifle in his car.
Lorick was charged with certain persons not to have weapons and unlawful possession of weapons, among other charges.
He was lodged in Mercer County Jail pending a bail detention hearing.
