State health officials have confirmed 4,100 new positive COVID-19 cases on Friday, along with 19 additional deaths.
The cumulative total of COVID-19 cases in New Jersey stands at 326,473 since the pandemic began. More than 15,000 people have died.
“We are still in the midst of this pandemic. Protect yourself and your family. Mask up. Practice social distancing,” Gov. Phil Murphy wrote on Twitter.
The governor also urged all New Jerseyans to avoid large gatherings this holiday season.
