State expands certain capacity limits, including general outdoor gatherings

Gov. Phil Murphy has taken another step forward in reopening New Jersey as new capacity limits take effect, including large outdoor venues such as the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.

Gov. Phil Murphy has taken another step forward in reopening New Jersey as new capacity limits take effect, including large outdoor venues such as the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.
The cap on private outdoor gatherings goes up to 200 people but doesn't apply to outdoor religious or political gatherings. Those will remain uncapped.
Large entertainment venues can start seating more fans.

Indoor venues can now open at 20% capacity, meaning more fans at tonight’s New Jersey Devils game at the Prudential Center.
Outdoor entertainment venues can also go up to 30%.
