8ds agoThe New Jersey Office of the Attorney General has filed an appeal against a court decision allowing the federal government to continue to detail immigrants at the Elizabeth Detention Center.
The facility is the only Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in New Jersey.
The federal court decision contradicted a state law that would have shut down the facility las year.
