St. Thomas Aquinas took on St. John Villa in the quest for the Archdiocese Class B Title game.
Bronx star Judith Brittany Ray came into the game hoping to follow in her brother's footsteps of winning a city championship. She was also looking to reach the 2,000-point mark, so she came out fighting. She quickly helped her team take a 36-16 lead by the half.
Then with 4:40 left in the game, Ray gets the rebound and put it away to hit 2001 career points. The team now advances to the state final four with its 77-66 win.
