The Strauss Mansion Museum in Atlantic Highlands is considered by paranormal buffs to be one of the most haunted spots in New Jersey.
The mansion is a museum now, run by the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society. The society saved the mansion from demolition and restored it to its 1893 grandeur. It looks pretty much exactly how you'd picture a haunted mansion would look from the outside.
