Police: Body of woman recovered from Long Island Sound in Lloyd Harbor

A 35-year-old Plainfield man, Kavon Powell-Coleman, was arrested after a deadly crash in North Plainfield last Tuesday.

Police said he was speeding on Duer Street when he hit a Ford F-150 on Greenbrook Road.

Two passengers went to the hospital, and a 68-year-old man later died.

Powell-Coleman is charged with vehicular homicide and assault by auto.
