A Somerville man is facing charges, accused of stealing a construction vehicle and going on a dangerous joy ride.
Somerset County prosecutors say Amr Khodeer was seen near Union Street at the time a construction vehicle was stolen.
Khodeer is accused of driving recklessly and striking two cars before crashing into a building in Bridgewater. He and the driver of one of the struck cars were taken to the hospital.
Khodeer will be transported to Somerset County jail upon release from the hospital. He is facing theft and reckless driving charges.
