New Jersey will have to get through a bit of rain on Friday before an absolutely gorgeous weekend.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the weekend will see dry weather with less humidity.
WHAT’S NEXT: Storms are expected to move into the region overnight, mainly going into the early Friday morning commute. Heavy rain, hail, fog and strong wind gusts are possible 5-9 a.m. Friday with clearing skies afterward. A lingering shower or storm is possible for Friday afternoon.
OVERNIGHT: Humid with areas of fog, storms possible into Friday morning commute. Lows in the 70s.
FRIDAY: Lingering showers and storms, turning sunny later. Highs in the 80s, lows around 72.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and dry. Highs in the 80s, upper-70s at the Shore. Low temps near 63.
SUNDAY: Sunny and warm. Highs in the upper-80s, lower-80s at the Shore. Lows near 68.
