Some Florida airports close as major Hurricane Milton approaches, many flock home to New Jersey

Tampa will stop all flights at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Orlando shutting down operations at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Thousands from Florida are flocking back home to New Jersey to get out of Milton's path. Some Florida airports are shutting down operations before the storm.
Tampa will stop all flights at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Orlando shutting down operations at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
SW Florida International Airport in Fort Myers will not have any commercial flights Wednesday and Thursday.
As of Tuesday morning, Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports should operate as normal.
Airlines sending out alerts and rebooking options to avoid travel in and out of Florida.
Options are available if you are looking to change your flight and trying to get your fee waived.
