Some
beef jerky sold in New Jersey has been recalled, officials say.
Boyd
Specialties, LLC, a Colton, California,
establishment, is recalling approximately 1,634 pounds of ready-to-eat jerky
products that may contain listeria
monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection
Service says.
The
jerky products were produced on Feb. 23, 2022. The products
subject to the recall include
items sold under several companies including Humboldt Jerky Co,
Smokehouse Jerky Co, Rock Ridge Jerky, Killer Gourmet, The Classy Cow Jerky,
Rebel's, and Arrow's Native Foods LLC. Click HERE for a full list.
The
products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 40269” inside the
USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in
Alabama, California, Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina,
Pennsylvania and Texas.
