There haven't been too many of them this summer, but this weekend looks to be one of the rare ones. Both a Saturday plus Sunday looking really nice.

Mainly sunny skies and temperatures that, while warm, will be a few degrees shy of normal. 83 degrees is typical. Some areas may stay under 80 degrees. Fair weather will cover the region for most of the weekend so the winds will be favorable and fairly light. The pristine weather will linger for tonight but will be slowly moving offshore through the day on Sunday.

The second half of the weekend still features sunshine for most of the day. The winds will be slowly changing direction, allowing more humid air back over the state. The temperatures on Sunday will be a few degrees warmer than normal and the mugginess will make it feel it bit warmer. Kind of nice for the end of August. Late Sunday evening or Sunday night clouds will become more common, and a line of showers will be moving in from the Poconos.
