For the second day in a row, poor weather west of New Jersey is causing delays at all three Port Authority airports.
The weather may look fine at Newark Liberty International Airport, but approaching storms are creating huge problems for travelers. On Tuesday, storms in the same area delayed or canceled 105 out of 1,200 flights coming into and out of the airport.
Frequent fliers say air travel has gotten worse over the last few years, and statistics seem to confirm that. The Federal Department of Transportation recorded that in the first five months of 2007, 23 percent of all flights were canceled or delayed.
All travelers are advised to check with their carrier before heading to the airport.
