Jesse Diaz is set to be sentenced on Monday for raping
and choking a woman in May of 2021.
Police say he ran behind the victim, grabbed her by the throat
and knocked her unconscious in a wooded area off Route 112 in Coram.
He pled guilty to the crime in June and faces up to 25 years
in prison.
